Altar Flower Chart for 2010
is located on the Church Bulletin Board in the Narthex. There
are still some Sundays open during the year.

Two bouquets are set at the Altar area each Sunday by donation
by Trinity members.
·
Please print your name and dedication clearly.
·
Cost $40 for two bouquets prepared by Safeway (share the day
with someone else for $20 each).
·
Make check out to Trinity Lutheran Church (mark “Altar Flowers”
on memo line).
·
Submit payment to the Office Manager by the first of your month.
·
Flowers may be picked up after the late service or by Noon on
Monday.
·
Flowers left after Noon on Monday will be used by others to take
to shut-ins.
·
Sundays without a Floral donation by a member will be a donation
made from the Altar Guild Budget. Thank you for your special
dedications each Sunday.

Please contact Kathy Pfeifer whenever you need to pick up your
flowers later

Hilltop Bible Study
Pastor Geta and Belaynesh Dirasse are opening up their home to have a weekly Bible Study that will begin on Tuesday, April 4th at either 6:30 or 7:00 p.m. Please contact Pastor Stace or Pastor Geta (244-2585) for more details.

Nursery Rhymes
Humpty Dumpty, Old King Cole, Three Blind Mice, Hickory Dickory
Dock, The Cat and the Fiddle, are just a few of the Nursery
Rhymes we are learning about this week in Preschool. Nursery
rhymes are easy stories to remember and to memorize and the
children love them! Thank you God for Nursery Rhymes.

provided LWML with $238 to further our ministry to the people of
Trinity, our community and the world.

1-Day Survival Kits
– Due to the Bake Sale, the kits are located in the Fellowship Hall
near the LWML Bulletin Board.
Suggested donation is $10 per kit to help cover the cost of
the supplies included.
(Items included in kits: emergency space blanket, water pouches,
rain poncho, a candle & matches, emergency whistle, energy bar, 12
hour snaplight, hand sanitizer, trash bags, tissue and spiritual
material.)
There’s
still time ~ until Feb. 28 (a Sunday!) to drop off your used, any
occasion cards. At St.
Jude’s Ranch for Children, the children and volunteers participate
in making beautiful new cards.
You may put your cards in the LWML Recycling drawers on the
shelf in the Fellowship Hall OR mail directly to St. Jude’s Ranch
for Children.

Located at the Wyndham Hotel in San Jose, CA
We
will have a basket available in the Fellowship Hall for ingathering
items for a local
charity.
A list of suggested
items will be provided. Any member of Trinity’s congregation is
invited and encouraged to attend.
This will be a large gathering of Lutheran Women sharing,
caring and praising Our Savior, Jesus Christ. You will come away
with wonderful memories and filled with the Holy Spirit.

Craft Faire
“Beading” Workshop
- Join us on Friday, February 26 at 1 p.m. at the home of Kathy
Pfeifer to continue work on beaded angels and crosses. While we
work, let’s discuss future workshops, ideas and planning for this
event.
Fellowship
Lenten Soup Suppers
During Lent, the soup suppers will be served at 5:30 and the Lent
church service will begin at 6:30.
Lent Soup Suppers are so successful because everyone
participates by bringing food if possible.
The food you bring should
serve 10-12 people. One half of the church directory
alphabet brings soup while the other half brings salad or dessert
for the dinner. The host committee provides beverages and bread or
crackers along with setting up and cleaning up from the supper.
When you bring your food item to share, the host committee
will not be washing dishes as part of clean-up, so make sure to take
your dish home that Wednesday evening. The order of who brings what
when is as follows:
