LWML
News!
LWML Fellowship Gathering:Thursday,
September 9, in the Fellowship Hall from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm
for lunch (provided), renewing and making new friendships,
reviewing & voting on our updated bylaws, looking at upcoming
events, and new service opportunities.
Dorcas Circle:
(Acts 9:32-40)
The verse from Acts 9:36, is the basis for the formation of “Dorcas
Circle” through which the LWML is in the process of forming a
system in assisting our congregational members with meals when
events in their lives occur that require extra help for a
time.
“Dorcas Circle” is where congregational members can
call Roberta Littleton or be called by Roberta (when we hear
of a need), and a meal schedule can be arranged and managed.
This will ensure that our brothers and sisters in Christ will
be cared for and no one person is burdened.
Prayerfully consider having your name included on the
list of “Helping Hands” to provide meals from which Roberta
will be able to call upon when a need arises.
You do not need to be a member of LWML and we encourage
men and women to put their name on the “Helping Hands” list.
This is a ministry service that LWML would like to manage with
your help.

Welcome
back everyone! We had a great first day last Sunday
learning about the friendship between David and Jonathan, and
discussed our own friendships. Nancy Jasper joined us
for opening and led the kids in songs. Stay in touch to
find out more about any Fellowship Gatherings, our Mission
Projects and the Sunday School Worship & Praise Band.
Also, we would like to thank Jenny Reilly for returning to
teach the 2-4th grade, Heidi Dias for teaching 5th & 6th
grade, and Brenda Orrey for assisting us and training to be
a K-1st teacher for Jan. 2011. In the meantime, if there are
any K-1st graders who would like to join us, they are always
welcome and would fit right in. God's blessings to all
families.
